Cuban folk music at the crossroads of Latin Jazz, Hip hop and La Nueva Trova
William Vivanco was born in Santiago de Cuba, the musical heart and soul of the island. Like Compay Segundo, Sindo Garay and Eliades Ochoa, William found inspiration in his hometown's vibrant city centre. Armed with style and originality, he moved to Havana to join other artists. At the crossroads of Latin Jazz, Hip hop and La Nueva Trova, he describes himself as “an explorer of chance, in search for pollen and love”.
